Alpine Retreat is a modern split level Holiday Home facing Conical Hill, with mountain views towards the Lewis Pass. Alpine Retreat is sited in the centre of Hanmer Springs, within five minutes walking to the shops, bars, restaurants and pools. There is easy access to walking and bike tracks.
The house is alarmed, and there is a telephone for local calls to book restaurants, tours, etc. (See facilities page for full list)
We have midweek rates Sunday through to Thursday nights which will suit shift workers and those with young families. These mid-week rates do not apply during School or Public Holidays.
Keys are posted out to guests usually two weeks in advance unless required before.
Hanmer Springs will be the ideal stopover for the new 50km St James Cycleway, near Lake Tennyson to Lake Guyon. This is now open.
Hanmer Springs Ski Area is to open on 29th June for the 2014 season.
